Elena J. Russo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Planning and Policy from New York University – School of Continuing Education. She has over 30 years of experience in regulatory healthcare services and has worked for major healthcare systems including NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare Network and NYC Health + Hospitals.
Ms. Russo worked for 18 years at the NewYork-Presbyterian system and was employed by both Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Following her time at NewYork-Presbyterian, Ms. Russo worked for 13 years at NYC Health + Hospitals and prepared regulatory applications for the system’s eleven acute care facilities, six diagnostic & treatment centers, five long-term care facilities and numerous extension clinics.
She also has established relationships with the staff of the major New York State regulatory agencies including the NYS Department of Health and the NYS Office of Mental Health. She has submitted countless regulatory applications and has a 100% approval track record.
Upon retirement from NYC Health + Hospitals in July 2018, she established EJ Russo, Inc. which provides independent healthcare regulatory consulting services.
